No it doesn't
That Tyrone performance was utter rank
They allowed a middle division 2 team beat them by a country mile and should have won by more
It was a poor performance no doubt, but you have to also credit Derry for their work rate, intensity and scoring.

I thought there was alot of similarity between both Armagh and Tyrone's championship performances.
Derry pushed up and Tyrone struggled to win their own kick out, with Morgan kicking at least 2 over the sideline.
They were outplayed at mid field and lost the 50/50 ball contest.
They struggled to create chances up front and alot of key players didn't perform, with McCurry, Myler and McKernan being the exception.
Tyrone were completely lacking in energy, but I'm sure will re-group for the qualifiers.

Not looking forward to the draw!

Great to see Tyrone get well beat out the gate. Back door should be fun now!! Div 2 teams are really no different to Div 1 (Kerry and Dubs aside). Hope anyone but Donegal win Ulster - would love to meet them again in back door!

Round 1 of qualifiers will have:
Mayo
Armagh
Tyrone
Clare
Louth
Derry or Monaghan
Cork or Kerry
Dublin or Meath

It is also possible that Donegal, Galway, Limerick and Kildare could join the above, unlikely but possible. In the event there are more than 8 teams there will be a preliminary round.

Top of Div 2 (Galway, Rossies, Derry) are not so different from most Div 1 teams. But Kildare v Louth showed that those teams promoted into Div 2 are not at that standard yet.
