Disappointed to be only 1 up. Gave away 2 or 3 silly frees and missed 2 or 3 ourselves. Big second half needed here.

Should be out the gate! Some great 1st half performances there but poor decisions costing us at time.

Soupy doing lots of great work but blocked down twice and handpassed two away

Jarly Óg getting in to the game now, hopefully get Rian a bit closer in to the goals in the second half now. Nugent and Duffy flying.

Paddy Burns a massive loss there. Was doing very well and linking play well. Morgan on a yellow worries me here too.

Some atmosphere here. Nothing beats being there.

Solid post this Diarmi and I would say most Armagh fans would be of this way of thinking.

The kick out thing is frustrating all of us, and it's a mixture of players not moving and no decision making. Management were also culpable giving up opposition kickouts in the league and championship. So we need movement, and we need to contest the kickout.

Rowland has been a massive miss in that half back line in my opinion. It's like a decade long hole in our defense that was closed for the first 3 or 4 league games just reopened. He is a great passer of the ball as well and was a calming presence.

I'd start turbitt myself though I do not know enough about mc quillan. But turbitt has to start.

I'd go with something like this and there is almost a looking back to look forward element here,

Hughes

P Burns (if fit)
Forker
Mc Kay

Mackin
Mc cabe
J Burns

Rafferty
Crealey

Nugent
R O Neill
O O Neill

Grugan
Turbitt
J Kierans/C o Neill

Sheridan in my opinion misses out in Midfield, I think we need more there, and with Grimley injured, Mackin injured, Kelly Out for a while, then we are missing 3 starters. Rafferty is fit, he is mobile again and he is a solid fielder and passer of the ball. Simply put, he is a midfielder and we need a solid midfielder.

Hall misses out in my team, I just feel we need a bit more and this is not a slight on Hall, just that I think we need a stronger and more physical presence in the half forward line.

Duffy has unfortunately flattered to decieve second half of the league and by all accounts C O Neill is flying. So I've named either him or Kierans (a mobile, shrewd ball winner and heavy scoring Div 1 club forward who has been on the panel all season). Either leave kierans up and let grugan roam. Or start C O Neill and bring him out towards midfield and the half forward line and give him a free role.

I know there are a couple of positional switches, but I think Armagh would suit that more. I've a feeling though that rather than be brave, our management will revert to type
Did you forget James Morgan plays for Armagh? He’s been outstanding all year and you would have dropped him for today! Him and soupy have come up with the goods again!!
Not forgetting Ethan Rafferty!!

Onto the next one

Is it an open draw tomorrow, can we get Donegal again?

2 double headers in Croker next weekend I reckon.

Obviously Limerick at home is the draw everyone wants but at this stage I don't care who we get - it's the business end of the season.

On a different note - I thought we really won out physically today also - McKernan in particular will be sore tomorrow and got his medicine after his smart arse move on Nugent just before half time.

I hope Connaire Mackin is OK - won 2 match winning balls when game was in melting pot - fantastic.
