It certainly felt bad in those 20 mins, though the commentators mentioned a strongish breeze and Donegal won the toss to play with the wind in the first half. The weather worsened during that period and IMO their plan was to sit back and take those long shots to carry a lead into the second half then shut up shop and defend the lead. In that period we had maybe 2-3 shots drop short and others drifted wide, when it felt like they were scoring from every chance they got. I’d guess the wind was a factor for Armagh in that period, as early in the second half Donegal also had a couple drop short into those goals (vs none in the first half). We still created chances just the poor conversion rate made it feel worse than it was.
I think that’s a pretty fair assessment.

Oisin had a piece the weekend about the 10 greatest qualifiers in the examiner two Armagh games were in it , the Galway one in 2001 was a right whirlwind. I watched this in a bar in Yonkers with somebody from Donegal , he said to me ‘put a fork in that Armagh team their done ‘ how right he was . Guess who I met the following summer the week after the 2002 Ulster final

2001, Galway 0-13 Armagh 0-12.

Memorable for all the wrong reasons. We had beaten Down and Monaghan and were anxious to play a team outside of Ulster but the whole day unravelled for us long before the match began. We played some great stuff in the second half but we’d left ourselves with too much catching up to do.

2003, Armagh 0-15 Dublin 0-11.
Tommy Lyons, the Dublin manager at the time, suffered ridiculous and vitriolic abuse after Dublin were beaten by Westmeath in Leinster the following year. Tommy walked away at the end of that 2004 season but his demise really began a year earlier when we beat them - because Tommy also probably lost the dressing-room afterwards. He tore some of his players to shreds in his post-match briefing, including Stephen Cluxton who was sent off for kicking Stevie McDonnell in the second half. We took control in the second-half, especially Stevie, who was on fire that afternoon.

Fleg poles seems to be one of the banned items.

Not sure if anyones had a look at the tickets but they’ve opened 3 more blocks in the upper tiers due to sales continuing.
The best seats are yet to be made available I reckon

No fleg poles.

There were flags with flag poles at last year's AI Final (I've checked the footage ;):)), if Them Uns were allowed theirs damn sure we'l be getting ours in.

Seriously though I turned up to the Kildare match in 2017 with a postage stamp size flag to see others traipsing in with proper flags, I didn't make the same mistake next day out against Them Uns, unfortunately I didn't have much waving to do  I was back again with my proper flag & flag pole for the Division 3 final against Fermanagh, again no issues, so me & my flag will definitely be there next Sunday :D

I know a few lads that brought telescopic fishing rods in last year, cable tied the flegs to the eye hooks when they got in. In fairness, they looked the part.

Looks like could end up basically sold out by time game comes around. Expect plenty neutrals too if weather is to be good!
It’s expensive enough for people to follow their own county with the cost of everything, without being able to follow other counties too.
