I hope the lads can be picked up after the final yesterday, it will be a hard job lads gave everything, home to Westmeath should be a win but will need to perform

I think Armagh vs Galway is probable for Croke Park because there isn’t a natural alternative. But at least half the Round 3 neutral matches will not be in CP and possibly less if a Tailteann cup match is accommodated. TC quarterfinals are Meath that weekend.

So there will be a few potential big games away from CP eg Mayo vs Cork in Limerick or Thurles. Monaghan v Donegal could be in Armagh or Omagh. Will be interesting to see what they do.

Reckon Armagh could be on a Saturday and therefore bolster the GAAGO coffers.

3 Games Upcoming

Westmeath at Home 27th /28th May (I think in will be Sat Evening )
Tyrone Away 3rd 4th June
Galway Neutral 17th 18th June (Mullingar or Portlaoise ?)

I can see why the team that loses the provincial finals always performed poorly in the qualifiers, if the players feel the way that I feel today its very hard to pick your self up after that match yesterday .

Does the team that comes 2nd get home advantage in the Preliminary playoff ?
I think so.
I would also question why as a 2nd seeded team our home game is against the 4th seed? Surely there should be some semblance of advantage for being a higher seed?

I'd agree here, surely a home tie v 3rd seed would of been proper reward. 1st seed at home to 2nd seed. 2nd seed home to 3rd seed. 3rd seed home to 4th seed. then 4th home to 1st.

Another positive going into the all ireland series for me is by the time we take on tyrone we will have played 5 championship games, of which the 1st 3 where used to get lads up to speed and the 4th was actually championship speed and intensity, the westmeath game you would imagine would be similar to tje 1st 3 games. While we have been playing regularly we should still be relatively fresh but well up to match pace. Not something you can usually say about a team that made the ulster final. In a great position to beat Tyrone and set up a shoot out with galway for the automatic q final spot

Armagh need to play the high press game. Suits that Armagh team down to a tee with the pace and power Armagh have. Saying that if Armagh go to Omagh and possibly croker for the galway game and get the results needed they will be contenders for the All Ireland.. The way you stop Kerry is stop the supply into Clifford and I think that Armagh team can.
