I was thinking Jemar might struggle to keep his jersey. can be hard to tell with him as a lot of his good stuff can go unnoticed but I personally thought he was poor against tyrone despite bagging a point

Sheridan played midfield against themuns, why the hell would you drop Kelly,if anyone should be left out it should be Hall,I wouldn't be surprised if Grimley & Campbell start,if Morgan starts I'd be worried

He never had an outstanding game but didn't have a poor game either. He had a decent enough game I thought, he ran himself and the Tyrone defence around for a little while. That being said, I wouldn't play him against Monaghan and my reason has nothing to do with his performances against Tyrone or Dublin. Campbell should be brought in (but I don't think he is match fit yet, still looks a little off imo) as he has shown himself to be better at scoring points and is a tank going forward, Monaghan will find it difficult to stop him physically.

I like Hall and think he is can be undervalued a little. Its a very selfless role he plays. He reminds me what Joe Brolly used to say about John Rafferty in the 90s/00s Armagh team and how for Derry he presented a real problem. Rafferty made life difficult for the opposition by his constant running and creating space, even if he didn't get much touch of the ball Likewise, Hall is a real pain for the opposition-he never stops running up and down the field, making life difficult as to what to do with him; man mark or let him wander? He is a dangerous enough forward in his own right that to let him run around on his own is risky, but if 'tagged' closely, then he creates constant space and room for the ball to be played into. Plus he does more than his fair share of mopping up loose ball and popping up here and there for the occasional score. His level of running works for about 40 or 50 minutes, with Soupy coming in to do his thing.

I said it before the Tyrone match 'Stefan' is a better option as an impact sub and needs to be kept fresh so he can kick an equalizing or winning point at the death and Hall would start for me all day against Monaghan , another gritty game where space will be at a premium. Again the bench will be massive tomorrow .
