he is a Granemore middle order batsman, cad, heir to the De Beer diamond fortune and prospective unionist unity candidate in Fermanagh South Tyrone. Rumours of the “next Bond” can’t be discounted. Too early to say

Sometimes progress / success can be achieved in the face of great adversity. If Armagh were to pull off a win tomorrow night it would be massive. With a fully fit defence it would be a tough task but we're down to bare bones defensively. I'm assuming that despite B. Donaghy being named on the subs last week that he isn't 100% - There's no other explanation when you lose 4 defenders and your most experienced one doesn't rise from his seat. So...massive performance needed and a time for names to be made.

I think you might be putting 2 & 2 together & getting 5 Surely if there was ill feeling/an incident between Brendan & the Manager he would retire from County football, at this stage he owes Armagh nothing & he's not compelled to be there.
I have no inside knowledge so don't know what the situation is, but I find it hard to believe that Brendan would continue to commit to the squad if he believed his county playing days were at an end.
