I think you might be putting 2 & 2 together & getting 5 :) Surely if there was ill feeling/an incident between Brendan & the Manager he would retire from County football, at this stage he owes Armagh nothing & he's not compelled to be there.
I have no inside knowledge so don't know what the situation is, but I find it hard to believe that Brendan would continue to commit to the squad if he believed his county playing days were at an end.

We'll know after tonight. If he doesn't feature I'd say he'll not be hanging around. Can't say I have inside knowledge but have heard he's fully fit.

BTW I'm not suggesting there was an incident but just trying to understand the reasoning of keeping a player in the squad that you don't intend using - I suppose all will be revealed tonight.

It could be a case of horses for courses

The game is very quick now

What a moment this could be for Ross Finn and Granemore.

Armagh have needed quality and capable defenders for years and if he can show he has the mentality and the skill what an addition to the squad he would be and a much needed one.

Although Donegal have put up a poor quality copy of their line up it looks the same this week

Both teams missing key talismen (AF for us, Murphy for Donegal).
Hope we can match Donegal for physicality and be mindful of their runners down the middle channel. Glad to see Jarly and Grimley midfield partnership again, which had worked for us 2 yrs ago. Would love to see Oisin moving out to CHF, Grugan out as a 3rd MF option and leave Rian and Soup as 2 man FF line. At this stage of the season we may as well throw caution to the wind.
