The bad thing about the result is we have no more games now until the league starts, hope we have some challenge games lined up and not against Donegal.

I think we all know that sort of form will not be happening again for the rest of the season.
I think there was chance if we lost could still reach semi final as best runner up.

Think it comes down to point difference so not sure where that leaves us

Lads you have to take into account the conditions Pitch looked close to being waterlogged Felt sorry for the forwards in the second half what few balls were gave in were of poor quality
Too many changes at half time for me but I guess we have to keep faith that management have a long term plan in place and know best

On route home from a soggy and cold breffni. First half started slowly but took control from 20 mins onwards.
Perplexed with the subs in the second half, I’m all for giving new boys a chance but there must have been at least 8/9 subs made at once. It showed in the second half, we were awful.
Kind of feels like a waste of a night, as it was quite evident from early doors in the second half that it would be a waste of 35 minutes.
There is a couple of fringe players there you won’t see pull an armagh jersey again

That was terrible, very bad management decision to put out so many subs at a time.
What did they learn from that nothing!! Poor lads no leaders! They learn from the experience played! And they were on the bench. A draw would have ment so much more to the young players.
Disappointed in the management decision

To put these competitions into perspective...

Dublin lost to Offaly
Kerry were hammered by Cork last week
We were beaten by Cavan
Meath drew with Longford - A good result for Meath

The panel is going to be slimmed down in the coming weeks. Some key players needed a bit of a run out, some players I feel probably would have benefitted from additional game time - Higgins mainly.

Commentary said McGeeney was shouting at the players telling them not to solo with the ball

Had the two games been in reverse order then we would likely be in a semi final. We could have made the changes against Antrim and still won.

I can safely say we are worse off now after that game. New players need to be blended in to the team along with the experienced so they can learn from them. If I were one of the new batch that came on at HT I would now be thinking I'm miles away instead of building my confidence. How can any team make so many changes and expect to retain the flow of the game.
I'm not normally this critical but this was a very stupid decision by the management.
As for learning from the competition, we got zero. Very, very disappointed and annoyed.
By the way, McGeeney does need to take supporters into consideration, if it wasn't for us he would not be in a job. The Armagh support goes a long way to help the team.
