No intent whatsoever for challenge on Mackin. Fair play to McKiernan on his actions after by calling for doctors and putting Mackin in the recovery position within seconds of the incident.

Hopefully Mackin makes a speedy recovery.
McKiernan didn't help and put Mackin into the recovery position or call for help. It was the #7 that did that along with Aidan Forker. McKiernan protested to the ref that he used his shoulder and then went down "Injured". It was still a playing collision though and having seen it back now, I still think that.

Sorry your correct was no.7 (got names mixed up).

Although not how I would like it, it is a sign of Armagh maturity that we were able to learn from the actions of other teams, and wind down the clock. Making the most of stoppages and other opportunities. The final 9 minutes being case in point. Didn’t seem like 9 mins of football. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do! A bit like Tyrone during Richie Donnelly’s black card didn’t see too much football in those 10 mins

Went to match with very little expectation but was greatly surprised by the performance. Great intensity with good discipline and looked good when we moved the ball quickly like we were doing at the start of the league.

If anyone is any doubt

I just checked rte.ie , independent.ie and Irish examiner.ie and remember we knocked out the current all Ireland champions and not a mention on their front pages. Not one.

The bias against northern teams is very strong
Yeah Joe, but on the upside if we're being ignored it makes it easier to come in under the radar a la Derry
