3 weeks ago it looked like we could relegate them now they have relegated us.Don't think I'll ever come to terms with getting relegated by that lot.
Makes me sick.
We'll have to beat them in the Championship.

I'd say there is a fair chance it will be a Derry Armagh Ulster final and after that... who knows.Don't think I'll ever come to terms with getting relegated by that lot.

The backs didn't get us relegated it was other arenas & off the field that got us relegatedDisappointing result, considering it was extremely winnable, but relegation is probably a fair reflection of where Armagh are at. I don’t think we have the strength in depth, especially at the back, to be D1 regulars. You can point at injuries and who’s missing but that’s where the top teams differ - they have someone just as good or almost as good to come in and fill the gap.
Yeah but look at who we play in defence, most of them don’t play there for their clubs. The backs didn't get us relegated it was other arenas & off the field that got us relegated
FWIW, McCambridge is a wonderful defenderYeah but look at who we play in defence, most of them don’t play there for their clubs.
A really good interview from Geezer. Less pressure on the squad now going into the Championship.
I wouldn't have Forker,Burns in the backs & Rafferty in goals I'd have them in midfield & forwardsYeah but look at who we play in defence, most of them don’t play there for their clubs.
McGeeney pack your fucking bags
A few silly mini battles going on here , surprised by the participants as well that should know better .Let me paraphrase a well known poster here.
Lose the attitude, that shite gives me the scour.

I don't think that Tyrone have a much better calibre of Player compared to us , last year we also had a massive spread of scorers in our games example against Tyrone below 2022 championsip belowAt the minute, if we score 12 we concede 13, score 1-6 concede 1-8, score 16 concede 18. Al that tells me is that when it comes down to the last 10 minutes of a game we don’t have the specific type of player who can make the correct decision to get those 1/2 points or Turnovers that will win top level matches.
Look at today soupy scores to put us 14-13 the place is going crazy. And yet what happens from there we are beaten 5-2 and lose.
What was the possession stats from that time. I’d say at least 70-30 Tyrone if not higher.
Armagh allowed to Tyrone to win kickouts and then retreated retreated retreated until they eventually worked a free or a score.
The difference between their calmness and maturity and ours in that period was stark.
For years now we have simply been incapable of not conceding scorable frees in this crucial period.
Whether this is coaching or the caliber of
Player I’M not Certain. Again compare this to Tyrone. Huge difference. We also lack a spread of scorers.
Ciaran Mackin is a superstar in terms of work rate and effort but after 1 minute of the second half. Left footed shot. Maybe 25 yards out. Sadly when he shot I had zero confidence in him scoring and it proved correct.
While we did well around the middle I still felt there was a huge difference compared to what Conn Kirkpatrick offered Tyrone. He must have been involved in a huge number of their scores.
One of the scariest parts of today I felt was that our three best players by quite a distance were Aidan Forker Rory Grugan and Stefan Campbell.
It’s time for the younger players to win these games for us and it’s not happening.
Does this change with new management I’m not sure ?
It’s a different level of course but surely the achievements of Sligo and Wicklow with their armagh men at the helm can’t be ignored.
We have had the same man in charge since 2015. Here is another relegation. We have to be realistic. Surely the message needs refreshed. There can’t be anything new being drilled into the players.
The James Morgan situation is also very peculiar no matter what.
You don’t line out as a sub even once throughout the league and then play the first club game yesterday. That sends a strange message.
Our only hope now is injury clear ups in order to compete in the summer. At the minute the panel depth won’t take us too far.
I'm not talking about your quote solely , but it looks like that to me , lots of silly points scoring going on today in this forum , but we all get caught up in that and that's my opinion . Just to be clear also the original quote was out of order and plenty have already made that point .There's absolutely no call for what I quoted. None whatsoever, regardless of your view on management.
I challenge that and you choose to infer it is petty / personal?

Has been injured but nearing fitness again, possibly ready for Antrim (off bench I'd say)Any word on Crealey? Is he injured or just taking the year out?
